3 EASY STEPS TO REDUCE WASTE IN OUR COMMUNITY
We collect hard-to-recycle items like plastic packaging, glass and used batteries from your home and drop them off at the correct recycling facilities. All you need to do is to separate them from your trash and we’ll do the rest!
HOW TO COLLECT
Glass
Place glass bottles and jars in a sturdy cardboard box. Make sure there are no broken shards.
Plastic Packaging
Wrap plastic packaging materials in a larger plastic bag. Please make sure they are clean and dry.
Used Batteries
Collect spent single use and dischargeable batteries in a clean plastic bag. Tape any leaking batteries.
PICK UP DETAILS
We will collect your items once a month and will inform you of your pick up day once you sign up. We’ll send you a reminder email a few days before your pick up date and a text message the morning of your collection day.
COLLECTION CHARGES
Because this is a community service initiative started by a local high school student, it’s free for anyone that signs up. As we scale up, we may charge a nominal fee for operational costs in the future.
