KABEER CHOPRA, FOUNDER

In the summer of 2023, Kabeer noticed two problems during his job at Giant Eagle: massive plastic consumption and underutilized recycling facilities. Few customers returned plastic bags or brought reusable ones. Even his environmentally-conscious family wasn't taking glass to the Borough's recycling center. That's when he came up with the idea for Green Bridge 412. He believes most people want to make environmentally responsible choices but either don't know the proper recycling steps or lack time to complete them. Green Bridge 412 bridges the gap between good intentions and effective environmental action.

Kabeer is currently a freshman at Tulane University and hopes to continue to work on his environmental passions. Kabeer plays basketball, enjoys watching football, TV shows, and video games with friends.
